Robert Torck is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors
Entrepreneur Robert Torck will take over the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fost Plus for the next three years. He will take over from Jan Vander Stichele (Lotus Bakeries). This is the first time since its inception that the organisation has had an independent Chairman.
Robert brings with him an enormous network and extensive experience in both the international business world and in Boards of Directors. Since the beginning of this year, we have had a slimmed-down Board of Directors, with stronger representation of our members. This allows us to make more targeted decisions to give substance to our social role. I look forward to heralding the Fost Plus of tomorrow with Robert as a sounding board.

Fost Plus faces numerous challenges: maintaining neutrality between materials, strengthening ties with consumers, supporting municipalities in their various missions, encouraging ecodesign, finding a balance between environmental performance and economic feasibility – to name but a few.
